Red Reveal Cards
How they work
These cards have a ‘magic’ image in the form of multi-coloured dashes. These dashes are diagonal, horizontal and vertical. When a photocell red film is placed over the top of the image, a word appears normally identifying the prize won. Any number of messages or pictures can be hidden within the artwork.
Red reveal works by revealing these hidden messages in print with a special red filter or glasses.
This type of promotional card has been used by car dealers, utilising direct mail, to encourage selective prospects into dealerships to check if they have won a prize. This promotion also gathered customer information for future marketing campaigns. Promotions can be regional specific or national.
Ideally suits exhibitions in attracting visitors to your stand to see what they have won and is another source of data capture.
FAQs
How many do I have to produce?
As with any form of printed matter, the unit cost is greatly reduced the more that is printed. If a number of targeted campaigns are planned, and the quantities are reduced, it may be cost effective to produce all together and distribute at a later date. Under normal circumstances only a small number of prizes are on offer.
Can you have winners and losers?
Yes – this game is to hide a prize that can be revealed over and over again. You decide how many items and, in turn, their value of promotional merchandise.
Can I have a campaign that runs continually over a given period?
Yes, campaigns can last for as long as the promotional merchandise lasts providing the merchandise itself does not change.
Do I need insurance?
Insurance is not normally needed for this game as the number of cards is proportional to the merchandise on offer.
